Forest School

The Forest School curriculum at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School provides many opportunities for children to develop their knowledge and understanding of the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, and to action that commitment through good works and words that show we live our faith in our community as a force for good.
 
Our Forest School provides pupils with opportunities to experience and learn from nature during their growing years in order to become citizens and future decision makers who will take responsibility for the stewardship of the Earth.
 
The aim of the outdoor-learning project at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School is to promote the wellbeing of participants, develop confidence, resilience, independence, creativity and emotional literacy and to facilitate a lifelong love and understanding of the natural environment.
